Decided to do a little experimenting last night, mixing soft chalk pastels, alcohol markers, and gel pen. I think in the future, I might stick with colored pencils over the soft chalk pastels as the alcohol markers didn’t seem to like coloring over the pastels. I’ve plans to do some other illustrations in a similar style, mostly as Christmas cards for family over the next couple of weeks.
