Overview
At Imperfectly Laura, I create and sell original artwork in various formats. Because of the nature of handmade items and print-on-demand services, my return policy varies depending on the product type.
Handmade Items (Bookmarks, Jewelry Charms)
No returns or exchanges are accepted on handmade items.
These products are individually created and prepared for shipment upon order. Once shipped, sales are final.
Exceptions for Handmade Items:
I will offer a replacement or refund only if:
- The item arrives damaged during shipping
- The wrong item was sent
- There is a significant defect in craftsmanship
To qualify for an exception, you must contact me within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence of the issue.
Print-on-Demand Products (Prints, Stickers)
Print-on-demand items are produced by third-party fulfillment partners after you place your order. These items follow the return and refund policies established by those partners.
Quality Issues:
If your print or sticker arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, please contact me within 30 days of delivery with photographic evidence. I will work with the fulfillment partner to:
- Send a replacement at no additional cost, or
- Issue a full refund
Design or Color Expectations:
Please note that colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen due to monitor settings and printing processes. Minor color variations do not qualify for returns or refunds.
No returns are accepted for reasons such as:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Dissatisfaction with artistic style (all products show accurate previews before purchase)
- Buyer’s remorse
Lost or Stolen Packages
I am not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported as lost or stolen. I recommend:
- Tracking your order using the provided tracking number
- Requesting signature confirmation if concerned about package security
- Contacting your local postal service or carrier if a package shows delivered but was not received
Damaged During Shipping
If your order arrives damaged:
- Contact me within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photographs showing:
- The damaged item
- The packaging it arrived in (if applicable)
- Include your order number
I will assess the damage and determine whether a replacement or refund is appropriate.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days and will be returned using your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to post the refund to your account.
